good day...

reasons why today is a good day: 1) elaine from clothed much is doing a giveaway from lip bliss. if you haven't seen elaine's blog, go right now. i learned about her after she did some modeling for us at shade, and i check her blog daily to see what she's wearing. go check it out and enter in the giveaway! 2) shade is having another warehouse sale friday and saturday. everything is $5, $7, or $9. it's being held at 864 S 490 W, pleasant grove (behind kangaroo zoo.) friday from 9-7, saturday from 9-3. and here's a secret...we're doing a "friends and family" bonus tonight from 4-6pm so you can get your shopping done without the crowds. so come!

Shade is having a great sale at Timpview High School! December 10th (Thursday) from 2:15 to 8pm in the cafeteria. Everything is $5 or $7, so go stock up on Christmas gifts!

shade anniversary sale...

feeling like a homemaker...

berg and i have been quite the little homemakers the last little while... especially since our garden has been growing so great! the pictures below aren't made with things from our garden, but i'll post some things that were soon. here are a few things that we've made this summer:

my sister's apricot tree was full of fruit, so she let us pick some. this is what became of them. [of course, by "we" i mean that berg made it while i was studying--he is the best husband ever]

we also made some home-made pizzas. again, berg made the dough from scratch--seriously...are you jealous or what? berg made a supreme, and i went with a white pie with spinach. mine was definitely better.

capitol reef...

berg and i headed down to capitol reef last week to do some more camping with berg's family. if you've never been to capitol reef national park, i suggest you check it out. it's the only free national park in utah, and there is so much to see and do. you can even pick fresh fruit in their orchards and eat all you want for free! seriously, if you ever want to go camping down there...tell me and we can go together. enjoy some pictures from our trip:
