swine flu blues...

today we got a call from the havasupai tribe telling us that we could not go on our hike due to the recent outbreak of the swine flu. this is a hike that we have been planning for months, and we have been counting down the days until we left. i'm not joking...we were packed and ready to leave tomorrow after work. i can't believe this. i am so sad.

for those who don't know, i am a shoe fanatic. anytime i can get a new pair, you bet that i will. the other day berg and i went to cabela's to get some gear for our upcoming trip to havasupai. here are our new hikin' shoes. only 9 more days before i actually get to hike in them!

is what i woke up to this morning. yes, it is april 16th, and there is nearly 1ft of snow in the backyard. spring, when will you come? p.s. boozer loved it, but i did not.

being stuck at work when the sun is out...

makes me miss my dog. this is boozer. could he be any cuter? i wish i was in the backyard with him.

this might take some time, but i'm really going to try to start and keep a blog. i know you've all be absolutely DYING to see what has been going on with me. well, try not to get too excited. let me fill you in on what you've missed with us...school, work. wait...that's about it.
